The Cleveland Cavaliers won 102-87 over the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center near Los Angeles on Friday.

The Lakers lost for just the second time in 17 games since forward Pau Gasol returned to action, bringing to an end the Lakers' 11-game home winning streak.

Mo Williams scored 28 points and Lebron James 26 for the Cavaliers. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers (23-4) with 35 points.

Cleveland (22-8) led by 20 points, 47-27, with four minutes, 36 seconds left in the first half. The Lakers cut the lead to nine, 51-42, at halftime, and six, 54-48, 2:03 into the second half, but 9-2 and 6-0 runs gave the Cavaliers another 20-point lead, 76-56, with 1:22 left in third quarter.

Cleveland led 76-59 entering the fourth quarter and led by at least 12 and as many as 21 for the rest of the game.

Some fans in the customary capacity crowd of 18,997 expressed their displeasure over the Lakers' performance by throwing foam fingers that had been given away free onto the court with 4:04 to play and the Lakers trailing 93-73.

Former Lakers center Shaquille O'Neal had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Cavaliers. O'Neal's teams are 5-4 against the Lakers since he was traded to Miami in 2004.

The Lakers have played a Christmas Day game for 11 consecutive years, losing seven times.
