Argentine tennis player David Nalbandian said on Sunday that he will not be in his best sports and physical conditions for the first round of the Davis Cup against Sweden from March 5 to 7.

Nalbadian, however, added that he will do anything to win the series and to return to the Telmex Cup to be played on Feb. 13 in Buenos Aires.

Nalbandian, 28, is ranked 130th of the Professional Tennis Players Association, and he has spent nine months without competing due to a surgery in his hips.

"To have injured myself gave me a lot of problems, I had returned in December (to play exhibitions), I was feeling fine and to have an injury again is not the best. It gave me a lot of problems because I was ready to play and I had to see the tournament of Australia by TV," Nalbadian said.

Nalbadian told local daily "La Nacion" that he is not completely ready to return to the courts, because he feel pain when doing some movements, but not all the time.

Nalbadian also said that before the Davis Cup, he will play two matches, one in Buenos Aires and the other in Acapulco, Mexico.

Nalbadian added that his next goal is to recover to get a ticket for the Roland Garros and Wimbledon tournaments.
