Bosh, Durant named NBA Players of the Week

The Toronto Raptors' Chris Bosh and Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant were named Monday the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Jan. 25-31.

Bosh finished the week as the league leader in rebounds with 16.0 per game and ranked fifth among leaders in scoring of 25.7 points per game.

Bosh guided the Raptors to a 3-0 week. He had a double-double in each game and became the first player in franchise history to record at least 20 points and 15 rebounds in three consecutive games. Against the Indiana Pacers, he posted 26 points, 15 rebounds and a season-high seven assists.

Durant, who led the NBA in scoring of 34.3 points per game for the week, helped the Thunder to a 2-1 week with wins over two Western Conference opponents.

He paired a season-high 45 points with 11 rebounds against Golden State on Jan. 31, for his second double-double of the week. In the game, he made a season-high 16 field goals and shot 76.2 percent from the field.
