Freiburg dreamed of a sensation in front of out-sold Allianz Arena, but Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben destroyed all their hope with a double on Saturday.

Freiburg surprisingly staged a better start than Bayern, which was unable to set Freiburg's well-positioned defense under pressure. At 31st minute Freiburg astonishingly took the lead. Striker Cedrick Makiadi hammered the ball from 17 meter into top right corner. Bayern remained absolutely baffled within the break.

Bayern started motivated into second half and managed to produce goal-scoring scenes. But the Bavarians had to wait until the 76th minute when midfielder Arjen Robben curled a free kick over the wall into top left corner.

Bayern sniffed a chance to turn around while Freiburg's strength declined. With seven minutes until final whistle, referee Markus Schmidt awarded Bayern a penalty after midfielder Ivica Banovic tackled striker Thomas Mueller inside penalty area. Robben took up the challenge and converted left footed to mark the final 2-1 score.

Bayern recaptured top position with 56 points, followed by Schalke with 54 points and Leverkusen that will interfere on Sunday, with 50 points.

Dortmund started dominant into the derby and pressed Bochum into defense. Bochum staged an unstable defense so that at the 18th minute Bochum defender Marcel Maltritz donated Dortmund a goal after he deflected a set by piece situation into his own goal to bring Dortmund unwanted up front.

Bochum was out of sorts after the deficit and was punished only nine minutes later. Dortmund striker Mohamed Zidan scored right footed from the penalty line.

With 33 minutes into the match Milos Maric lost his nerves and was sent off with a straight red card after a violent conduct against Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blazczykowski.

After the interval Bochum seemed more focused and stable. Only eight minutes into second half Bochum shortened the score. Schalke loanee Lewis Holtby exploited a pass into path by midfielder Mimoun Azaouagh to mark his first Bundesliga goal.

Bochum acted more self-confident and aggressive, but all their hopes were destroyed by Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios who netted twice, at the 74th and 76th minute to earn his 13th Bundesliga goal.
