Defending champion China and traditional powerhouse United States advanced into the final of the women's wrestling World Cup final on Saturday.

China won three straight victories in the group stage, edging their first opponents Japan 4-3 and then easing past Canada and Russia.

Zhang Haojie, Chinese head coach, was happy with the performance of the team's young players, adding that many teams are making rapid improvement.

"The United States is our long-time rivals. I am confident that we will pose great performance in the final," Zhang said.
