1. First La Liga appearance

Raul Gonzalez Blanco, known simply as Raul, began the 1994-1995 season on Madrid's C-team but was promoted to first-team status by coach Jorge Valdano after impressing everyone with 16 goals in nine games. On Oct. 29, 1994, Raul made his first La Liga appearance when Real Madrid was hosted by Zaragoza, which made Raul the youngest player (17 years and four months) ever to play for the senior side.
