The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s soccer team ate Mochi in South Africa to strengthen their vigor ahead of their first World Cup match against Brazil.

Mochi, with a difficult production process, is a traditional food of the DPRK. According to the Chosun Sinbo on Tuesday, the DPRK' s football team were accompanied by their own cooks who prepare all the food the team ate. The cooks made Mochi for the players to encourage them to win the match.

Kim Jong-hun, coach of the team said the teams of Brazil, Portugal and Cote d'Ivoire are strong opponents, especially the team of Braizil. However, if the team of the DPRK exerted all of its advantages, it will win the first match with Brazil.

Kim said they could do anything with their solidarity. The team has studied how to block the attack of the team of Brazil.

The team of the DPRK will meet the team of Brazil in June 16. It was in Group G with Brazil, Portugal and Cote d'Ivoire, which is considered as the "Group of Death."
