Defending champions Guangdong Dongguan trounced Xinjiang Guanghui 122-87 Friday at home in Game Four of the CBA finals.

The two teams are now level at 2-2 in the best-of-seven series. Game Five is scheduled for Sunday, still at Dongguan.

With better performance at both ends of the floor, Guangdong asserted the authority from the very beginning and never looked back to pull the best-of-five series back to 2-2.

The home team dished out six assists in the first quarter compared with zero for Xinjiang. Hudson buried two three-pointers as the home team used a 10-0 run to enter the second period at 35-20.

Guangdong's another foreign player Haislip then took the baton. The hot-handed power forward shot 4-out-of-4 three-pointers and scored 22 points in total, nailing down another pair of strong runs to put Guangdong 66-35 ahead by the end of the first half.

Wang Shipeng and Zhu Fangyu also did a good job, notching 24 and 17 points respectively to help Guangdong lead as many as 45 points once.

Guangdong's coach Li Chunjiang was also happy with his boys' teamwork spirit.

"We presented our real power in this game. We were not affected by the loss of last game at all."

Quincy Dubby, Xinjiang's top scorer, had a game-high 31 points, nearly half of which came in free throws. But he was 0-for-5 at the three-point line.

The road team was inferior to Guangdong in all data - 10 against 18 in assists, 8 against 12 in steals and 33 against 44 in rebounds.
