The 2011 Beijing International Equestrian Grand Prix will be held at the Bird's Nest from Thursday to Saturday. The event will feature appearances by international masters and Chinese Olympians.

French rider Kevin Staut, who leads the FEI (International Equestrian Federation) jumping rankings, will be on show along with fourth-ranked German Marcus Ehning, Olympic bronze medalist Swiss Christina Liebherr and World Championship bronze medalist Judy-Ann Melchior of Belgium.

Four-time Olympic gold medalist, German rider Ludger Beerbaum, who has been ranked the No 1 show jumper by the FEI on multiple occasions, will also join the event with teammates Christian Ahlmann and Marco Kutscher and China's promising rider Zhu Meimei.
