Former NBA Nuggets star JR Smith finished with 39 points and 9 rebounds. Josh Boone contributed a big double-double 26 points and 17 rebounds for Chouzhou, who tied it on 88-88 with 5 minutes and 21 seconds left before Morris took over to score 10 points in a run that gave Beijing a hard home victory.

"Stephon and Randolph were brilliant offensively tonight and shouldered a big load," Ducks coach Min Lulei said.

Defending Champion Guangdong Hongyuan pulled back a 19-point deficit in a third-period explosion as the visitors rallied to secure a 100-97 narrow win over Zhejiang Guangsha.

Guagndong was missing a spark early as Zhejiang bolted to a 47-37 first-half lead and stretched the margin to 65-46 on a hook shot by paint beast Peter Ramos in the early start of the third period before Aaron Brooks erupted.

The former Rockets guard "black bean" scored 10 straight points and assisted on three pointers for Wang Shipeng in an 18-0 burst to give Hongyuan a 100-95 lead with 53.8 seconds remaining. While another former Nuggets star Wilson Chandler, sinking 20 points and 10 rebounds, missed the last two three-pointer attempts after Ramos buried two.

Brooks scored a game-high 26 points for Hongyuan, whose Zhu Fangyu and Wang Shipeng buried 4 three-pointers apiece, adding 23 and 24 points respectively.
