Zhejiang Guangsha stopped the five-game losing streak by defeating Dongguan Marco Polo 114-109 at the 27th round of the regular season of the 2011-2012 season Chinese Basketball Association league (CBA) on Sunday.

Because of the defeating run, Guangsha had slipped to the fourth place on the league rankings. Chinese Taipei player Lin Chih-Chien's come back became a chance for the team to change the bad luck, and Lin did it.

29-year-old Lin, rather than former NBA star Wilson Chandler , became Guangsha's most efficient scorer in Sunday's game by collecting 21 points in the first three quarters of the game.

Dongguan center Ronald Randolph dominated the game in the earlier part of the first quarter, shooting down nine points to bring the away team 13-9 lead. However, Lin and Chandler were not disturbed by Randolph's hot hand. The Guangsha duo fired a couple of three pointers to get back the leading place, Guangsha ended the first quarter 23-13.

Ramos became Guangsha's core both defensively and offensively, his attack from inside extended Guangsha's advantage to 18 points. Dongguan fought back later, trimmed the gap to 13 points before the half time whistle.

Dongguan shorted the deficit to five points in the third quarter, but Guangsha veteran Jin Linpeng awarded the host team a 85-76 lead. Dongguan tried again to catch up in the fourth quarter, but Lin and Chandler made a string of jump shots to seal the victory.

It was Dongguan's second straight defeat.

37 points from J.R. Smith didn't save Zhejiang Chouzhou from the 112-104 loss to Tianjing Ronggang. The Zhejiang team dropped to the 10th place of the CBA ranking.

Stephon Marbury sent 7 assists, leading Beijing Ducks to beat Jiangsu Dragons 116-97. Beijing harvested the third straight win and kept at the second place of the league.

Defending champion Guangdong Hongyuan got another easy win by beating Jilin Northeast Tigers 107-94. Guangdong consolidated the leading position of the league with a 22-4 record.

Guangdong forward Zhou Peng got the game high 24 points. Aaron Brooks made 6 of his 10 three point attempts to harvest 22 points.

Jilin ended the four-game winning run because of the defeat. Jameel Watkins and Cartier Martin got 23 and 22 points respectively.

In Sunday's other games, Shanghai sharks beat Fujian SBS 94-90, Shandong Gold beat Shanxi Zhongyu 125-110, Qingdao Doublestars beat Bayi Fubang 103-91,Xinjiang Guanghui beat Foshan Long lions 103-94.
