Stephon Marbury scored 11 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Ducks to 3-1 in the CBA Finals against Guangdong.

Beijing Ducks are on the verge of their first CBA title after Stephon Marbury's fourth quarter brilliance helped them overwhelm the defending champion Guangdong Southern Tigers 107-98 on Wednesday night.

Beijing now leads the best-of-seven series 3-1 and can wrap it up Friday in Game 5.

The game remained close through the first three quarters with Beijing taking a 76-70 lead into the final 12 minutes.

Marbury, who scored 11 points in the fourth quarter, inspired a 7-0 run to lead the host up 101-92 with 3:59 remaining. Aaron Brooks scored five consecutive points to keep Guangdong in the game, yet he was unable to help his team to complete the comeback.

Randolph Morris led Beijing with game-high 32 points. Zhai Xiaochuan added 17 points.

"It's a tough game. We played good defense, which is the key to our victory," Min Lulei, head coach of Beijing said after the match. "I never thought we could lead 3-1 in the finals. Now we will focus on the next game."

James Singleton and Brooks combined 50 points for Guangdong.

No team in CBA history has ever overcome a 3-1 deficit in the Finals. Game 5 will be on Friday in Beijing.
