Men's: Federer defeats Djokovic for sixth title this year
Li Na rallied to beat Germany's Angelique Kerber 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 to claim the WTA Cincinnati title on Sunday, her first in 15 months after the 2011 French Open victory.
Li overcame an early setback to clinch her first title of the season after losing three previous finals in three sets.
"I was really hungry for the title," she said.
It was a tough week for Li: her match on Thursday night was postponed by rain, forcing her to play two matches on Friday less than seven hours apart.
The ninth-ranked Li beat Venus Williams in a three-set semifinal Saturday night, sending her to a back-to-back final for the first time in her career.
Li reached the finals in Montreal on Monday and lost to Petra Kvitova 7-5, 2-6, 6-3.
