Maya Moore scored 55 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to help Shanxi edge Shanghai 99-85 in the 10th round of Chinese Women's Basketball Association (WCBA) League on Tuesday.

Shanxi has achieved an eight-game winning streak since 2011 WNBA top draft pick's arrival. Zheng Xianmin and Yu Dong helped with 12 points apiece.

Moore, nicknamed "Undefeated Queen", opened the game with a jumper, and her team built a 10-point lead into the second quarter. Moore continued her domination in the second by scoring 10 points in a row. Shanxi led by 51-38 into halftime and Moore scored 31 points in the first half.

It seemed that Shanghai's defense failed to work in front of Moore. With her speed and power, Moore made 20 of 38 shots and was 13 of 13 at the free throw line.

With four players' double-figure points, Zhejiang held off Heilongjiang 97-88, and continued to put pressure on top-ranked Shanxi.

Elizabeth Cambage scored a team-high 27 points for Zhejiang while Bian Lan finished with 20 points and Dong Xuemei added 19 points.

Ji Yanyan of Heilongjiang had a game-high 35 points, but still could not save her team from the loss. Heilongjiang trailed by seven points after the first half and never came back.

Lindsay Taylor had 23 points and 10 rebounds, helping Yunnan end defending champion Beijing's four-game winning streak with a 82-75 victory.

In other matches, Henan lost to Jiangsu 69-71, Liaoning beat Guangdong 84-81 and Bayi was edged by Shenyang Army 82-86.
