Germany snatches men's eight gold at rowing regatta

Germany lifted the title of men's eight at the London Olympic Games rowing regatta at the Eton Dorney Lake on wednesday.

Germany won the gold in 5 minutes and 48.75 seconds. Canada took the silver in 5:49.98 and Britain settled for a bronze medal in 5:51.18.
