China take synchronised swimming silver

Russia won the fourth consecutive Olympic gold medal Friday in the team event of synchronised swimming at London.

China competes in the Women's Teams Synchronised Swimming Free Routine final on Day 14 of the London 2012 Olympic Games at the Aquatics Centre on August 10, 2012. 

Russia, which won all the world championships and past three Olympic gold medals, dominated from the overnight duet session to collect a total of 197.030 points for the top podium.

China, the bronze-medallists at the 2008 Beijing Games, edged off Spain for the silver medal with 194.010 while Spain on third with 193.120.
