FIFA President Sepp Blatter arrived in Marrakech on Saturday to take part at the 35th Confederation of African Football (CAF) Ordinary General Assembly.

During this assembly current CAF president Issa Hayatou of Cameroon will be re-elected unopposed for a final four-year term as the (CAF) president.

There will also be elections for the CAF Executive Committee members as well as the continent's representative to the FIFA Executive Committee for the period 2013- 2017.

Cote d'Ivoirian Jacques Anouma, one of the four Africans on the executive committee of world governing body FIFA, wanted to oppose Hayatou but a change to the election rules disqualified him.

Anouma and the Cote d'Ivorian and Liberian football associations made four appeals to the Switzerland-based Court for Arbitration in Sport (CAS) in an effort to overturn the ruling but it backed CAF each time.

CAF assembly will end on Sunday at 1730hrs with a press conference by Blatter and Hayatou.
