Nick Gilbert won the Cleveland Cavaliers the No. 1 pick for the 2013 NBA Draft in the NBA lottery on Tuesday.

Gilbert, owner Dan Gilbert's son, won the lottery as the team with the second worst record, beating the Orlando Magic to the No. 2 spot.

This was the second time in three years that Gilbert won the lottery. He was on the same stage in 2011 when the Cavs selected Kyrie Irving with the No.1 pick.

The NBA Draft will take place on June 27 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The Washinton Wizards, which was the 8th team on the lottery standings, finally finished with the No. 3 pick with some luck.

"It feels good. I just knew it," said Nick Gilbert, who was hugged by his father after the lottery. "I was confident for the first seat but I was not 100 percent (sure), until I heard Orlando was the second."

Dan Gilbert said, "He is a lucky guy. It's gonna be rough for a few years. I'll rebuild our team with the No.1 pick. I hope we could get the guy we want."
