Defending NBA champion Miami Heat chose to waive veteran shooter Mike Miller under amnesty provision on Tuesday.
The decision would save the Heat over 30 million U.S. dollar tax.
Miller's agents had already starting contacting teams who may have interest in the shooter.
Miller played 59 regular season games last season. He averaged career lowest 4.8 points and 15.3 minutes.
However, he started four of the seven Finals games, shooting 61 percent beyond the arc to help the Heat wrap up the second straight NBA title.
