Chinese Taipei continued their winning way following a 94-55 rout of Hong Kong on Monday at the 27th Asian Men's Basketball Championship in the second round.
The undefeated Chinese Taipei converted five triples in the third quarter to secure the victory, improving to 3-0 to tie Qatar in Group E, while Hong Kong lost their third straight 3-0.
Chen Shih-Cheih scored 13 points for Chinese Taipei to lead five players in double-digits.
Three-pointers from Wong Chun-Wai, Fong Shing-Yee and Chan Yik-Lun sent Hong Kong to a quick start. But Chinese Taipei soon recovered with an 11-5 run and no longer gave their opponent any chance.
Chinese Taipei will play against Japan on Tuesday while Hong Kong takes on Jordan.
