World men's singles No. 1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia will meet Danish shuttler Jan O Jorgensen at Badminton World Federation (BWF) Superseries Finals on Saturday following a tight game between the two in the last round of group stage.

Home fans held their breath when Lee Chong Wei claimed a narrow 23-21, 24-22 victory over Jorgensen on Friday, culminated by calls for challenge by both players with the newly introduced instant review system in the second set. A mix draw system put them together for another showdown in the semifinals.

Japanese Kenichi Tago will also have a chance to revenge his defeat against Indonesia's Tommy Sugiarto at the group stage.

Li Xuerui and Wang Shixin will try to secure the women's singles title for China as they take on the pair of Bae Yeon Ju of South Kroea and Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei. In the Mixed Doubles, China's Xu Chen/Ma Jin need to get over Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen before having the chance to meet their fellow compatriot Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei, who will play Malaysia's Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying in the other semifinal.

Women's doubles semifinal will feature an early meet between Ma Jin/Tang Jinhua and Yu Yang/Wang Liaoli, due to Yu and Wang's unexpected defeat from Danish pair Christinna Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter Juhl on Friday. In Men's doubles, Ko Sung Hyun/Lee Yong Dae will try to get a spot in the finals from their teammates Kim Ki Jung/Kim Sa Rang.
