Big center Marc Gasol's return inspired the Memphis Grizzlies. He scored 12 points to help the South Western franchise edge the Oklahoma City Thunder 90-87 on Tuesday.
Grizzlies shooting guard Courtney Lee had a season-high 24 points, including a buzzer-beating two-point jump shot at the end of the third quarter. Zach Randolph had 23 points and 13 rebounds.
The Thunder suffered the third loss in the previous four games. The only team they beat was the last-ranked Milwaukee Bucks.
Kevin Durant had 37 points. Reggie Jackson made 17 and Serge Ibaka scored 11.
