Chairman of Reignwood Group [R] meets with chief executive officer of PGA of American on Jan.17.

Dr. Chanchai, the chairman of Reignwood Group, Red Bull Group and Asian Golf Course Owners Association, met with Mr. Peter Bevacqua, chief executive officer of PGA of America on Jan. 17, 2014, at PGA Headquarters in Palm Beach Garden to finalize the agreement of forming a strategic alliance to promote the game of Golf in Asia.

Dr. Chanchai commented that Asian golf development would require assistance from the more developed regions, such as the United States and Europe, to see more qualified Asian golfers representing Asian countries in the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in Brazil in 2016.

We need to encourage more young people to understand the culture of golf and be more interested in taking up this game and improving their skills. As more people play golf, we will have a bigger selection of golfers who will represent Asian countries in the Rio Olympics.

Dr. Chanchai also met with the golf legend Mr. Jack Nicklaus in Palm Beach on Jan. 17. They discussed how to better promote the golf culture and the game itself. Nicklaus designed the Reignwood Pine Valley 54 holes golf course in Beijing as well as Reignwood's newest 18-hole golf course in Dali, southwest China's Yunnan Province.

Reignwood's recent acquisition of the luxury yacht "Sea Bear" of Nicklaus, converted into a floating golf museum, will make its maiden voyage through the Strait of Malacca from Singapore to Penang and then to Pulau Langkawi. The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mr. Najib Razak, will visit the "Floating Museum" in Pulau Langkawi and the exhibits.

Dr. Chanchai plans to promote the golf culture and the game in Asia with this floating museum traveling in Asia and hosting Asian golf enthusiasts.

Reignwood has successfully hosted the 2013 LPGA Classic Golf Tournament in Reignwood Pine Valley during which Chinese professional golfer Ms. Feng Shanshan became the champion through a fairy tale finish at hole 18 on the finale round. Reignwood Group is the sponsor to Ms. Feng Shanshan and Taiwan professional golfer Ms. Tsang Yani. Reignwood will continue to host the LPGA Classic Golf Tournament at Reignwood Pine Valley in October 2014.

Dr. Chanchai expects Chinese golfers to win a gold medal in the 2016 Olympics.
