Demba Ba's scuffed effort in the 87th minute edges Chelsea ahead on away goals.

Demba Ba scored a late goal to send hosts Chelsea into the UEFA Champions League semifinals on away goals despite a 3-3 tie with Paris St-Germain on aggregate.

The Paris-born striker, who came on in the place of Frank Lampard in the 66th minute, provided the crucial touch in the 87th minute to beat Salvatore Sirigu, sealing the 2-0 win for the hosts.

Fellow substitute Andre Schurrle, who replaced injured Eden Hazard in the 18th minute, had put the Blues ahead in the 32nd minute.

Jose Mourinho sprinted down the touchline to celebrate with his players by the corner flag.

PSG had beaten Chelsea 3-1 in their first-leg duel last week.
