German international goalkeeper Manuel Neuer extends his contract with Bayern Munich until 2019, the club announced on Saturday.
"It is amazing and great. It is a sign of his wonderful character that he said: 'I want to stay at Bayern forever.' I would like to express my gratitude to Manuel Neuer," Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.
Neuer joined the Bavarians in 2011 where he won a number of titles, namely FIFA Club World Cup 2013, UEFA Super Cup 2013, Champions League, German Championship, German Cup and DFL Super Cup. Besides that he was named as the World's Best Goalkeeper in 2013.
The German giants already sealed the Bundesliga trophy for all that they face Dortmund at the German Cup final on May 17.
