Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff expressed on Tuesday her confidence in the Brazilian soccer team's performance against Chile in the FIFA World Cup's round of 16.

Through her Twitter account, President Rousseff congratulated Brazil's team for their most recent victory, praising the squad for their 'talent and determination', and said she is confident on another victory in the next match.

"We are all confident in another great performance against Chile on Saturday," she said.

The Brazil versus Chile match will take place on June 28th, in the Mineirao stadium, in Belo Horizonte, in the country's southeastern region.

Brazil qualified for the round of 16 on Monday by beating Cameroon 4-1, while Chile had already qualified since last week.

So far, Brazil won two of its matches, against Cameroon and Croatia, and tied against Mexico - which also qualified for the round of 16.

Brazilian player Neymar is currently the top scorer, with four goals.

The round of 16 is the first match of the Cup's knockout stage, in which the winner continues in the competition and the loser is out. The winner of the Brazil versus Chile match will face either Colombia or Uruguay in the quarterfinals.
