Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos is set to fly to the Brazilian city of Fortalezato on Friday to attend the Colombia vs Brazil quarterfinal at the 2014 World Cup.

In an interview with Colombia's Caracol Radio, Colombian ambassador in Brazil, Patricia Cardenas, said Santos may meet with the governor of the host state, Ceara, but Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff's presence at the game was still unconfirmed.

Colombia reached the World Cup quarterfinals for the first time, by defeating Uruguay 2-0 on Saturday at Rio de Janeiro's famed Maracana Stadium.
