Toni Kroos signs for Real Madrid

Toni Kroos has joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich for a fee believed to be between 25 and 30 million euros.

Arsenal sign Debuchy from Newcastle

Arsenal have signed defender Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle United on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee, widely believed to be £12million.

The 28-year-old, who was part of the French World Cup squad which reached the World Cup quarter-finals, will present a ready-made Premier League replacement for Bacary Sagna, who earlier this summer left Arsenal to join Manchester City on a free transfer.

Ferdinand completes QPR transfer

The former Manchester United and England centre-back has completed his move to Queens Park Rangers after tweeting he'd passed a medical at the West London club.

The 35-year-old has been a free agent since his 12-year stay at Old Trafford came to an end when his contract expired last month and has now reunited with Harry Redknapp, the man who handed him his professional debut when the pair worked together at West Ham. More »

Liverpool target Juventus duo

Liverpool tried to use some of the cash received from Barcelona for Luis Suarez to attract a genuine big hitter in midfield.

The Anfield giants have already signed Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Lazar Markovic this off-season, but appear certain to more than double that outlay before the window closes at the end of August.

As well as QPR striker Loic Remy, Southampton defender Dejan Lovren and Ben Davies, manager Brendan Rodgers will also target a top class midfielder - with names such as World Cup stars Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba on the radar.

Real Madrid look set to tie up a mammoth £63million move for Colombia playmaker James Rodriguez.

The midfielder has reportedly agreed terms with the 10-time European champions over a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, according to Spanish daily AS.

Jose Mourinho is trying to persuade Real Madrid's World Cup-winning Germany midfielder Sami Khedira to join Chelsea instead of Arsenal.
