After a 23-year-of absence, Mexico will return to the Formula One world championships in 2015, F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone announced on Wednesday.
"I'm happy to announce we've concluded an agreement to have a race in 2015," Ecclestone said.
Mexico had hosted a F1 race since 1963 and after the race was last staged in 1992 it has been excluded from the F1 calendar ever since.
