Tevez completes Shanghai Shenhua move.

Argentina's former Manchester United and Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has signed for Shanghai Shenhua, the club confirmed on Thursday.

The acquisition of the 32-year-old from Buenos Aires side Boca Juniors will "greatly enhance" the team's front line, Shenhua said on its official Weibo account.

The Argentine is reportedly becoming the highest-paid player in the world with his move to the Chinese Super League (CSL).

Tevez will join the rest of the squad, who are on the Japanese island of Okinawa, after passing a medical, according to Shenhua. The side are coached by former Uruguay international Gus Poyet.

Shenhua finished fourth in the CSL during the 2016 season, 16 points behind champions Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao.
