Jiangsu Survive Dongguan Scare
Adjust font size:

Jiangsu continued its weird spell of playing well against strong rivals whilst being weak in the face of underdogs.

During the 24th round of the CBA league, Jiangsu took on the visiting underdog Dongguan Friday night.

Jiangsu was stunned by the visitors who scored 41 points in the first quarter. The hosts managed to turn the tables after a strong wave of bombardment in the third quarter to survive the scare.

The 140-127 victory is Jiangsu's fifth win in a row, the team's longest winning streak this season.

However, the scary ups and downs of the Jiangsu games have had taken two casualties.

It's reported that two Jiangsu fans died of heart attacks after Jiangsu's thrilling victory over defending champions Guangdong last Wednesday.
