Japanese Star Suetsugu Takes Men's 200m Gold

Japanese sprinting star Shingo Suetsugu won the men's 200m gold medal at the 15th Asian Games on Monday.

Suetsugu, the men's 200m bronze medalist at the 2003 World Championships, overcame a slow start to finish in 20.60 seconds, 0.57 seconds off his own Asian record.

China's Yang Yaozu took the silver in 20.71, with Suetsugu's compatriot Shinji Takahira grabbing the bronze in 20.81.
