The Sixth Winter Asian Games will see strict doping control as all facilities have been ready for the Games in Changchun, said organizers in northeast China's Jinlin Province on Friday.

Over 140 anti-doping working staff will conduct the test in the four doping-control stations set up in Changchun Five-Ring stadium, Aofu ice-hockey stadium, Jilin provincial speed skating stadium and Beidahu skiing course respectively.

"We will strictly abide by the World Anti-Doping Code and international standards of doping tests," said Zhao Xiaolu, an anti-doping official for the Games in Changchun.

"As the doping tests will be carried out under the supervision of the World anti-doping experts and Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), we will have 18 experts from those international organizations," he said.

He said all samples will be tested in the authorized lab by World Anti-Doping Agency in Beijing.

"They will report negative results in 24 hours and for positive results if there is any, they will return them in 48 hours," he said.

"Doping control is so important for sport worldwide nowadays that it could decide the fairness of an event," he said. "We will be strict in order to insure a clean Winter Asian Games."

The Games are scheduled to open on Jan. 28 through Feb. 4.
