Japan Wins Women's Halfpipe Gold

Japan Monday made a1-2 finish in the women's halfpipe of the sixth Asian Winter Games at the Beidahu ski resort, some 43 kms away from Jilin city.

Shino Nakashima took the gold medal in 44.2 points, with teammate Soko Yamaoka getting the silver in 41.7 points.

Chinese Liu Jiayu scored 38.3 points to settle for the bronze medal.
