Ding Junhui Prepares for World Championships

Ding Junhui, the brilliant Chinese snooker prodigy, beat Stephen Hendry again at an invitation meet in the German city of Dusseldorf on Sunday.

After a 5-1 victory in the friendly match, the Chinese player has achieved a good result against the legendary snooker player, with three wins, two draws and two losses.

Ding Junhui returned to Sheffield on Monday to prepare for the World Snooker Championships in Sheffield. He aims to qualify for the first time when he takes on Mark Davis in the final qualifying round on Wednesday, March 14.

For the first time, the last hurdle of qualifiers for snooker's most prestigious tournament will be held at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield from March 12 to 15.

The 16 winners will go through to the televised stages at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre in April to compete for the famous world trophy.
