Chelsea and Manchester United advanced to the semifinals of The Football Association Cup with victories in quarterfinal replays Monday night.

Andriy Shevchenko scored in the 54th minute and Shaun Wright-Phillips added a goal seven minutes later to lead Chelsea to a 2-1 victory at Tottenham Hotspur.

Robbie Keane converted a penalty kick for Spurs in the 79th minute after Ricardo Carvalho brought down Dimitar Berbatov in the penalty area. A fan ran onto the field and tried to punch celebrating Chelsea players at the end of the game.

Manchester United beat Middlesbrough 1-0 as Cristiano Ronaldo scored on a penalty kick in the 76th minute after he was pushed by Jonathan Woodgate. United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz was pulled away from the Middlesbrough coaches, who had accused Ronaldo of diving to get the penalty.

United, which has won a record 12 FA Cup titles, next meets Watford, which is last in the Premier League. Chelsea plays Blackburn in the semifinals, which are scheduled for April 14-15.
