The star-studded Chinese gymnastics team collected only two gold medals in the 10-apparatus finals at the 24th Universiade on Sunday.

 

Guo Weiyang scored a total of 15.925 points on men's parallel bar to share the gold medal with Kazuya Ueda from Japan who collected the same points. Cosmin Popescu from Romania had to finish third with 15.525 points.

 

World champions Fan Ye and Zhou Zhuoru gifted China a one-two finish on women's beam. Fan took the gold with 15.15 points while Zhou scored 14.575 points. Floare Leonda from Romania got the bronze with 14.45 points.
