Chinese gymnast Yu Junjie gave the Chinese City Games a big scare as he fell facedown from the horizontal bars.

 

Yu, representing the Guangzhou team, fell from the horizontal bars in the men's team competition Friday night, and he was unable to move his neck after the fall, according to the popular Chinese website Sohu.com.

 

Yu was rushed to a nearby hospital, and doctors said Yu's injury was not serious, Sohu reported.

 

In June, Chinese women's gymnast Wang Yan was paralyzed after a fall at the Chinese gymnastics championships in Shanghai.
