China sends 188 athletes to 2nd Asian Indoor Games

China will send 188 athletes to participate in the Second Asian Indoor Games to be held in Macao, China, says senior sports official on Monday.

Xu Chuan, deputy chef de mission of the Chinese Sports Delegation, told reporters that Chinese athletes would compete in 14 sports, namely aerobic gymnastics, bowling, chess sports, cue sports, dance sports, dragon and lion dance, electronic sports, extreme sports, fin-swimming, futsal, indoor athletics, indoor cycling, muay and short course swimming.

The Second Asian Indoor Games, which feature 17 official sports and three exhibitional sports, will be held in Macao from October 26 to November 3 with over 4,000 athletes from 43 countries and regions to vie for gold medals in 151 events.
