Lim wins 1st gold for S. Korea in Indoor Games' pool

Lim Suyoung of South Korea claimed the gold medal when she won the women's 100m breaststroke event at the 2007 Asian Indoor Games at the 25m short course swimming in Macao on Tuesday.

 

Lim won the gold medal by setting a new game record of one minute 9.79 seconds.

 

This is also the first gold medal for South Korea in the pool at the Games.

 

China's pair Liu Shuyuan and Tan Jingwen ranked second and third respectively.

 

Liu took the silver medal with 1:10.78 while Tan third at 1:10. 80.
