The Zimbabwe national rugby team the Sables are set to have a busy schedule this year, The Herald reported on Wednesday.

Zimbabwe, unlike most of the teams, will play one home game and two away games in the Africa Cup which also serves as the World Cup qualifier.

Bruce Hobson, president and acting chief executive of the Zimbabwe Rugby Union, knows it will not be a stroll in the park. "From what I understand we will play three Tests in the CAR tournament which will also serve as the first step for RWC 2011 qualifiers," he said.

"In addition, we plan to play five friendly Tests against three South African provincial sides and also Botswana and Zambia," Hobson told a South African website," he added

The former Sables player added that they are also hoping to build the Cheetahs who impressed at the Dubai Sevens tournament last year.
