South Korea will host the annual World Short Track Speed Skating Championship from Friday to Sunday in the eastern coastal city of Gangeung.

The annual championship attracts 150 skaters from 32 countries and regions, the Korea Skating Union said.

South Korea's three-time Olympic gold medalist Ahn Hyun-soo will miss the championship due to injury, it said.
