World No. 2 ranked Spaniard Rafael Nadal on Sunday won Barcelona Open title for the fourth time in a row after defeating his countryman David Ferrer 6-1, 4-6, 6-1.

Nadal became the first player to win the Barcelona Open four straight times.

Nadal and Ferrer faced each other in a reissue of the game they played in the quarterfinals of Montecarlo's Master Series a week ago.

Nadal proved he is practically unbeatable in clay courts, since he accomplished his 103 victory on clay courts of 104 games played in that kind of court after two hours and 14 minutes of play.

The game seemed easy for Nadal since Ferrer, ranked fifth in the world, was unable to make good serves until the fifth game.
