Japanese Kisuke Kitajima wins men's 100m breastroke gold

Kosuke Kitajima of Japan broke the world record of the men's 100m breaststroke at the Beijing Olympic Games on Monday.

Kitajima clocked in the winning time of 58.91 seconds to beat the previous world mark of 59.13 seconds set up by American Brendan Hansen on August 1, 2006.
