Only one wicket fell in the day as Pakistan Cricket Academy amassed 434 runs on the second day of the four-day match against Kenya, reaching 486 for 2 at stumps.

According to a news release from the global cricket body, Ahmed Shehzad fell with just one run added to their overnight score of 52, but Fawad Alam and Raheel Majeed punished the hosts with unbeaten double-hundreds and pushed Pakistan to a commanding first-innings lead of 277.

Peter Ongondo gave Kenya an early breakthrough, but Alam and Majeed put together an unbroken 433-run partnership for the third wicket.

Both batsmen had scores higher than Kenya's first-innings total of 209. Alam, who scored a century in the previous game, made 221 off 278 deliveries. He was outscored by Majeed, whose 227 came at a strike-rate of over 90.

Medium-pacer Nehemiah Odhiambo went for more than six an over, conceding 91 in his 15.

Elijah Otieno bowled just three overs, giving away 30, while 51 runs were scored in the nine overs from left-arm spinner Hiren Varaiya.

Ongondo, Thomas Odoyo and captain Steve Tikolo kept the run-rate in check with economy-rates of less than four an over.
