Henry hints at Barcelona exit

FC Barcelona striker Thierry Henry implied on Friday that he may not be staying long at his current club.

Henry scored 19 goals last season after arriving from Arsenal, but has yet to produce the football that made him a star in London.

Speaking on Catalunya radio, he said he has yet to put down roots in Catalunya.

"I have got another life and that life is in London, because that is where my daughter is," said Henry, who added that despite this, he was giving everything for his current club.

"That doesn't mean that I don't know where I am or when I need to concentrate. I am not sorry I signed for Barcelona," he insisted.

"I feel very good here, I go out and people try and cheer me on. Also the food, the weather and the city are all incredible," he said.

Henry gave another reason for wanting to remain at the club: Barca ended last season without any silverware.

"I have still not won anything here. We could have won everything last season and this time around we have to try and win it all again. There is no room for any errors. It has been two years since the club won anything and that is a long time for a big club."

This season has seen Henry play on the left of an attacking trio for Barca, although he was overlooked by coach Pep Guardiola during Wednesday's 3-2 win over Betis. Guardiola preferred to use young striker Bojan Krkic ahead of Henry, although the Frenchman preferred to say nothing.

"At the moment I play on the wing and there is nothing else to talk about. What the coach and I talk about is between the two of us," he said, without refusing to rule out the possibility of abandoning the Camp Nou stadium in the future.

"You can never say what is going to happen, because I never thought I would leave Arsenal," he concluded.
