Portugal, Spain to discuss joint bid for World Cup 2018

Portugal and Spain will discuss the possibility of presenting a joint bid for the 2018 World Cup soccer finals, local daily "Diario de Noticias" reported on Wednesday.

According to the daily, Portuguese sports minister Laurentino Dias is in favor of the joint candidature.

In Spain, the Spanish league has joined the plan.
