Myanmar to compete at First Asian Archery Grand Prix

Myanmar archers have been expected to get good results in the First Asian Archery Grand Prix tournament in Bangkok, Thailand, according to the Myanmar Archery Federation (MAF) on Thursday.

As a preparation for the 25th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Laos in December this year, the nine-player Myanmar archery team will compete in the team and individual events of the Feb. 18-24 tournament.

With world ranking points awarded, Asian archery powerhouses such as South Korea, Japan, China, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia will all be taking part in the Grand Prix.
