He Chong won the men's 3m springboard gold medal at the 14th FINA World Championships in Shanghai on Friday.
He scored his winning total of 554.30 points in six dives, while a Russian duo placed second and third respectively as Ilya Zakharov scored 508.95 and Evgeny Kuznetsov accumulated 493.55.
