China Southern Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines adjusted their flight schedules on the opening and closing days of the Shenzhen Universiade, Shenzhen Baoan International Airport told Xinhua on Thursday.

Nearly 30 flights have been cancelled on Aug. 12 and Aug. 23.

The canceled flights included some round-trip flights between Shenzhen and cities of Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai, Nanjing and Wenzhou.

According to the airport, most of the canceled flights were originally scheduled to depart from or arrive at Shenzhen Airport between 19:00 and 23:00 on Aug. 12 and Aug. 23.

The airport suggests that passengers pay close attention to updated flight information on these days to avoid inconvenience.
